If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately. LensiQ reserves the right to modify these Terms without prior notice; continued use indicates acceptance of updates. 2. Eligibility and User Qualification
2.1 Age Requirement
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases. By using the Platform, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2.2 Jurisdiction Compliance
The Platform is intended for individuals located within Nepal. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2.3 User Responsibility
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Safeguard your account credentials and accept responsibility for all activities carried out through your account.
3. Account Creation and Registration
3.1 Account Creation Requirements
Browsing is permitted without an account, but features such as purchasing, saving addresses, and tracking orders require registration.
3.2 Registration Process
- Phone Number Verification: Provide a valid Nepal-registered phone number for updates and recovery.
- OTP Verification: Enter the one-time password sent to your phone to proceed.
- Personal Information: Submit your full name, active email, and verified phone number truthfully.
3.3 Account Security
Keep your credentials confidential and do not share them with third parties. LensiQ is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from negligence.
3.4 Account Activation
Your account is active once all verification steps are completed. A confirmation message will be sent to you.
4. Browsing and Product Exploration
4.1 Browse Without Account
Users can explore product listings, descriptions, pricing, and imagery without logging in, enabling informed decisions before registering.
4.2 Product Information
We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee all product data is error-free. Pricing or availability may change without prior notice.
4.3 Advanced Search and Filtering
Use robust filters such as frame shape, size, material, brand, price, color, lens type, UV protection, and prescription readiness. Combine filters for more precise results.
5. Location-Based Services
5.1 Location Permission
Granting location access helps confirm service availability, improve delivery estimates, surface local promotions, and coordinate logistics.
5.2 Location Usage and Privacy
Location data is used solely for the stated purposes and never shared with third parties. You can revoke permission at any time.
5.3 Service Availability
LensiQ currently serves Kathmandu Valley and regions across Nepal. Location sharing enables accurate availability and delivery timeframes.
6. Address Management and Delivery
6.1 Address Registration
Save multiple addresses including street details, landmarks, delivery notes, and contact persons to streamline checkout.
6.2 Address Verification
LensiQ may verify addresses for accuracy. You will be notified if an address cannot be verified or serviced.
6.3 Delivery Notes
Provide detailed instructions—building colors, gate numbers, preferred delivery times—to help couriers locate you efficiently.
6.4 Address Modification
Edit or delete saved addresses anytime. Updates affect future orders; active orders retain the original address.
6.5 Delivery Areas
- Kathmandu Valley: Same-day or next-day delivery during business hours.
- Outside Kathmandu Valley: Typically 1–2 business days, subject to accessibility.
- Remote Areas: Delivery may take longer or be unavailable; confirmation provided at checkout.
7. Notification System
7.1 Notification Permission
Enabling push notifications ensures you receive real-time updates about orders, promotions, and important account activities.
7.2 Notification Content
Notifications may cover order status, deliveries, returns, promotions, security alerts, and platform updates.
7.3 Notification Management
Customize notification categories in your account settings or disable them entirely, though critical order updates are recommended.
7.4 Notification Frequency
LensiQ commits to relevant, timely communication without excessive messaging.
8. Account Deletion and Data Removal
8.1 Account Deletion Right
Request account deletion anytime via settings or customer support. You maintain full control over your data lifecycle.
8.2 Data Removal Process
Upon deletion, personal information, addresses, payment methods, prescriptions, preferences, and settings are permanently removed from active systems.
8.3 Data Deletion Timeline
LensiQ deletes data within 30 days of request and confirms completion via email or SMS.
8.4 Limitations
Account deletion does not affect in-progress orders. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics. Refunds are still processed via original payment methods.
8.5 Account Recovery
Deleted accounts cannot be restored. You may create a new account using the same phone number.
9. Product Catalog and Cart Management
Product availability is subject to change. Items in your cart are reserved for 24 hours when inventory is limited.
- Add, remove, or adjust quantities before checkout.
- Optional addons include extra frames, lens coatings, cleaning kits, repair kits, polarized upgrades, and prescription services.
- Bundle discounts are calculated before final checkout.
10. Prescription and Lens Specifications
- Prescription Storage: Save sphere, cylinder, axis, addition, and notes securely for future use.
- Data Protection: Prescription data remains confidential and is never shared without explicit consent.
- Verification: Provide accurate, current prescriptions and special requirements for precise manufacturing.
- Quality Assurance: Certified labs craft lenses per your specifications; report issues within 7 days.
- Liability: LensiQ is not responsible for discomfort arising from inaccurate or outdated prescriptions supplied by the user.
11. Payment and Checkout
Supported payment methods include Cash on Delivery (COD), eSewa, and Khalti. Transactions are secured via SSL/TLS encryption.
- Orders are confirmed upon payment verification, except COD which is immediate.
- All prices are in NPR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Failed transactions result in no order processing; you may retry with a different method.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days (bank transfer for COD).
12. Order Placement and Management
You will receive email, SMS, and push notifications (if enabled) upon order confirmation. Orders typically process within 1–2 business hours, followed by quality checks, packaging, and dispatch updates.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before the status moves from “Order Placed/Awaiting Acceptance” to “Accepted/Processing.” After acceptance, cancellations are unavailable. Refund timelines vary by payment method.
Order Modification
Once placed, orders cannot be modified. Cancel and reorder with desired changes if the cancellation window permits.
13. Order Tracking
Real-time tracking shows milestones such as Order Placed, Accepted, Processing, Dispatched, Out for Delivery, Delivered, and Delivery Failed. Access tracking via “My Orders” and enable notifications for instant updates.
Delivery timelines: same-day/next-day within Kathmandu Valley; 1–2 business days outside the valley. Support will notify you of delays.
14. Delivery and Logistics
LensiQ partners with reputable couriers across urban and semi-urban Nepal. Couriers attempt delivery up to three times and obtain proof of delivery via signature or digital acknowledgment.
Inspect packages upon delivery. You may refuse delivery if the package is damaged or missing contents. Delays may result from weather, natural events, courier disruptions, traffic, or address inaccuracies.
15. Returns and Refunds Policy

- Prescription mismatches reported within 7 days
- Unused, unopened eyewear returned within 7 days
Ineligible Returns
- Used or worn products
- User-caused damage
- Correctly fulfilled prescription lenses

- Final sale or clearance items (unless defective)
Initiate returns via “My Orders,” select reasons, follow shipping instructions, and provide tracking. Defective returns ship free; non-defective returns incur shipping costs. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection. Replacements are available for qualifying cases.
16. Data Privacy and Security
LensiQ collects personal, account, prescription, transaction, and device information to deliver services. Sensitive data is encrypted (AES-256) and stored on secure servers with strict access controls. We comply with Nepal’s data protection regulations and do not share personal data with third parties except payment gateways, logistics partners, or where legally required.

18. Regulatory Compliance
LensiQ Pvt Ltd is a registered Nepali company and complies with applicable laws including consumer protection, data privacy, e-commerce, digital transactions, taxation, labor, and app store policies. Disputes are subject to Nepal’s jurisdiction and laws.
19. Intellectual Property
All platform content—text, images, graphics, logos, product descriptions, and software—is owned by LensiQ or its licensors and protected by copyright laws. Users receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, modification, distribution, scraping, or reverse engineering is prohibited. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
20. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You must use the Platform responsibly. Prohibited actions include uploading illegal or defamatory content, attempting unauthorized access, interfering with service operations, engaging in fraud, harassing others, manipulating prices or information, and operating fraudulent accounts. LensiQ may suspend or terminate violators, report illegal activity, or seek legal remedies.
21. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is.” LensiQ does not warrant uninterrupted service or error-free information and is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or profit-related damages beyond the total amount paid for an order. Users are responsible for verifying product information and safeguarding their accounts.
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LensiQ, its owners, employees, and agents against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, provision of inaccurate information, unauthorized account use, IP infringements, or illegal activities.
23. Modifications to Services
LensiQ may modify or discontinue services, adjust product offerings, change pricing or payment methods, and update delivery areas or features without notice. Significant changes will be communicated when feasible.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Nepalese courts.

27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with any additional platform policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and LensiQ, superseding all prior understandings.
28. Waiver
Failure by LensiQ to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of rights. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative.
29. Effective Date and Acceptance
These Terms take effect on November 1, 2025. Continued use of the LensiQ Platform after this date signifies your acceptance. If you disagree with any provision, cease using the Platform immediately. For the latest version, visit the Platform regularly.
